Top B2B Marketing Conferences in 2022

Let’s review the options lined up for 2022, pull together our travel budgets, and keep our fingers crossed. 

Eager to attend in-person events, B2B marketing professionals may have their hopes dashed again as new variants spread.  What’s an event organizer to do?  Wait till the last minute (as evidenced by the number of “details to come” entries below). And soldier on.  Let’s review the options lined up for 2022, pull together our travel budgets, and keep our fingers crossed.

February 8, all virtual, SMART conference

Organized by Demandbase.  Free registration offers a neat pre-conference swag bag mailed to US attendees.

 

February 28-March 2, Scottsdale, B2B Marketing Exchange

One of the best, operated by DemandGen Report, and sponsored by just about every company selling tech or services to B2B marketers, #B2BMX announces that it will be a 100% vaccinated event, in person at the Phoenician.

 

March 15-17, all virtual, Adobe Summit

Adobe has become a martech powerhouse. Sign up for details as they emerge.

 

March 30-April 1, San Diego, Seismic Shift

All about sales enablement, and organized by Seismic, a producer of sales enablement software.

 

April 6-7, all virtual, Marketing Profs B2B Forum

An online follow-up to the October 2021 in-person Forum, with free registration for PRO members.  Still no word about their regular Forum in the fall.

 

April 11-12, Chicago, B2B Online

On ecommerce and digital marketing for manufacturers and distributors, organized by WB Research, the same company as runs B2B Connect, below.

 

May 2-4, Austin and “digital experience,” Forrester B2B Summit North America

This is the Sirius Decisions conference of yore, now incorporated into the Forrester brand.  It serves sales, marketing and product people. APAC B2B Summit in Singapore, September 20-21.  EMEA B2B Summit in London, October 11-12.  Forrester also operates related conferences on CX, data, tech and innovation.

 

May 11-12, Berlin, Strategy Summit B2B Marketing and E-Commerce

One of several B2B conferences throughout the year in Berlin.  On such topics as ABM, key accounts, and services management.

 

May 23-25, Scottsdale and virtual, ANA Masters of B2B Marketing Conference

Having taken over the BMA a few years ago, the ANA’s version of the annual conference features large B2B advertisers on the podium.   ANA is also running a very reasonably priced all-online 2022 Masters of B2B Marketing Conference II | A Virtual Experience December 7-8.

 

May 24-25, Napa CA, ITSMA Marketing Leadership Forum

No details available yet about this or their annual conference October 24-26 in Boston.

 

June 1-3, Chicago, Ignite USA 2022

The lively UK B2B marketing organization B2BMarketing.net plans again to launch its successful conference in the US, in person.  This year, the focus will be on the power of brand to drive growth.  Recommended—and not just because I am on their advisory board <grin>.

 

June 6-8, Fort Lauderdale, B2B Connect

Invitation only, for senior B2B sales and marketing executives.  See if you qualify here.  An EU version running June 22.  A similar virtual event for digital transformation leaders in manufacturing and distribution, September 21-22.

 

August 17-18, Singapore and virtual “on-demand,” B2B Marketing Leaders Forum Asia 2022

THE Asia-wide event for B2B marketers.  Also operating regionally in Sydney May 4-5 and Melbourne November 9-10.

 

September 13-16, Cleveland, Content Marketing World

The masters of modern content marketing.  Mostly B2B.

 

November TBD, London and virtual, The Global ABM Conference

Two-day event, still in the planning stages now.
