Redbrick acquires Leadpages

Redbrick acquires marketing-focused, no-code website builder, Leadpages, and takes lead generation to new heights.

Today, we’re excited to announce the acquisition of Leadpages, the fourth addition to our portfolio of digital companies. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Leadpages is a marketing-focused, no-code platform for building landing pages and websites.

As one of the first no-code website builders of its kind, Leadpages changed the game for small-business marketers and entrepreneurs everywhere. Suddenly, non-technical people had the ability to build and publish highly-optimized landing pages and websites without the support of designers or developers. Now, Leadpages equips digital entrepreneurs with powerful tools designed to optimize conversions, acquire more customers, and increase sales. To date, Leadpages has helped over 40,000 small-business marketers and entrepreneurs take the guesswork out of marketing and grow their businesses online.

“Entrepreneurs and small-businesses need support, not only building user-friendly websites, but also converting website visits to sales, and Leadpages has a proven track record of helping clients successfully accelerate their growth. Redbrick is thrilled to welcome Leadpages to our family, and we are committed to working alongside their team to continue offering current and future customers innovative, straightforward approaches to growing their businesses online.”  —Tobyn Sowden, CEO of Redbrick

Leveraging its own technology, Leadpages has evolved from bootstrapped start-up to non-stop growth, landing it a spot on the Inc. 500 list three times running and attracting the attention of investors: Leadpages successfully closed Series A and B funding rounds, raising $11M USD in 2014 and $27M USD in 2015.

With the acquisition, Leadpages’ 40-person team will continue to serve digital entrepreneurs with the tools and technology they need to transform their businesses, all while benefiting from our shared services model and strategic oversight.

“When it comes to people, we’re always looking for the best, regardless of location. Empowering Leadpages’ Minnesota-based team with our resources means Leadpages can continue doing what it does best—even better. We look forward to working together to build another incredible company.” —Nicole Lee, Vice President of People & Operations, Redbrick

At Redbrick, we believe in innovative ideas that have the power to disrupt industries. Whether we’re introducing productivity tools to transform the way you work or leading the digital publishing industry with innovative technology, our portfolio companies are constantly challenging the status quo. We see the same potential in Leadpages, and we look forward to applying our unique mix of marketing expertise, strategic vision, and powerful resources to support its next phase of growth.
